To meet the specific needs of the REMICH Municipal Pool, we installed the E-ACTI’WATER ® B+ system as follows:
- A non-intrusive stainless steel E-ACTI’WATER ® B+ device was installed throughout the pool site.
- Another E-ACTI’WATER ® B+ device was installed on the hot water network for filling the pools.
Finally, we installed an E-ACTI’WATER ® B+ device on the hot water network of the outdoor showers.
Thanks to these installations, we succeeded in resolving the problem of algae in the pool.
In addition to that, several advantages have been observed by the pool's technical service:
- The deposition of limestone and tartar on the pool basin and outdoor equipment such as ladders, diving boards, and floor tiles is now virtually nonexistent.
- The use of anti-algae products has been completely eliminated. Other additives have been reduced by 50% throughout the summer season and winterization.
- The pool water remained crystal clear even during periods of high attendance with up to 3,000 bathers, despite the use of creams, oils, and other cosmetics.
- Water analyses have revealed a significant improvement in water quality.
- Throughout the winterization period, stagnant water remained crystal clear.
The formation of sludge at the bottom of the basin has been reduced by at least 70%, and the remaining sludge was odorless.
Regarding limestone-related issues, our E-ACTI’WATER ® B+ systems have completely eliminated limestone deposition on the walls and floors of the basin. As a result, there is no longer any dirt build-up on these surfaces, making post-winterization cleaning easier.
Technicians have noticed a 70% reduction in the time allocated for cleaning the pools after winterization, and an 80% decrease in the use of chemical products required for pool maintenance. This efficiency has resulted in significant savings in terms of time and resources.
Thanks to these improvements, water softeners have been discontinued since the implementation of our devices, resulting in additional savings.
